Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9 avec le traitement pour moteur Sea Foam.  Le moteur ne pouvait pas \u00eatre d\u00e9marr\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s une inspection plus pouss\u00e9e, il est apparu que le moteur ne recevait pas de carburant \u00e0 moins d'appuyer sur l'amorce, ce qui indique qu'il y avait une restriction dans les circuits internes du carburateur. Le propri\u00e9taire d'origine avait achet\u00e9 une nouvelle d\u00e9sherbeuse et gardait celle-ci pour les pi\u00e8ces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10 ml de Sea Foam Motor Treatment ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9s au carburant existant dans le r\u00e9servoir du d\u00e9sherbeur, puis secou\u00e9s pour m\u00e9langer le carburant et le Sea Foam. Le moteur a eu du mal \u00e0 d\u00e9marrer pendant plusieurs minutes, puis a tourn\u00e9 et s'est arr\u00eat\u00e9. Ce sch\u00e9ma s'est poursuivi jusqu'\u00e0 ce que l'on d\u00e9couvre que le moteur continuait \u00e0 fonctionner s'il \u00e9tait amorc\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s cinq minutes de fonctionnement, le moteur a eu besoin de moins d'amor\u00e7age et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 fonctionner par lui-m\u00eame. Le r\u00e9gime a augment\u00e9 et le moteur a atteint le r\u00e9gime maximal sans starter et \u00e0 plein r\u00e9gime au bout de 20 minutes. Apr\u00e8s ce laps de temps, le moteur n'a plus h\u00e9sit\u00e9 ni cal\u00e9 et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 tourner au ralenti tout seul. Le r\u00e9servoir de carburant a \u00e9t\u00e9 rempli de carburant pr\u00e9-m\u00e9lang\u00e9 et de produit de traitement pour moteur Sea Foam et a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis en marche. Le moteur a fonctionn\u00e9 normalement par la suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, est-ce que Sea Foam nettoie les syst\u00e8mes de carburant ? Selon cette \u00e9tude ind\u00e9pendante, OUI ! Lorsqu'il a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 au r\u00e9servoir de carburant de la d\u00e9sherbeuse, le traitement pour moteur Sea Foam a nettoy\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me d'alimentation en carburant.
